Chandos Symphony Orchestra is an amateur orchestra based in Malvern, Worcestershire, UK, whose members come from all over the region. Under the guidance of our professional Music Director and conductor, Michael Lloyd, the orchestra has become one of the leading amateur orchestras in the West Midlands. It boasts over 100 players tackling major works of the 19th and 20th  Centuries, although works from outside this period are also performed.

The orchestra gives three major concerts every year, usually in March, May/September and November. As well as these concerts there are two one-day workshops, one for strings only and another for the main orchestra.

The orchestra always welcomes enquiries from new musicians of a suitable standard (especially string players). If you are interested in joining the orchestra try and come to one of the workshops and see if you enjoy playing with us.

For further information about the orchestra please contact the Orchestra Manager

If you wish to support the orchestra in a non-playing role then why not join the Friends of Chandos?
