Cello

Full size instrument with good tonal response in good overall condition, with good quality strings (fairly new Jargar).

This instrument was bought for £1200 about 5 years ago having been fully restored and set up by a reputable string instrument maker and restorer. It has been played regularly since then and been cared for properly including any maintenance that has been required. It would be classed as an "intermediate" instrument and is being sold only because the owner has aquired a more suitable one. It should be possible to advance to grade 8 on such a cello as long as it suits the player.

Buying a cello is a very personal thing that should not be done too quickly, and so it is possible to borrow this cello (which is insured) for peroid of time in order for a teacher to assess its suitability, with no obligation.
